Very short answer type question:

1.       How old was Margie and Tommy?

Ans:  Margie was a eleven years old girl and Tommy was thirteen years old boy. They both were neighbors and both lived in future, in the year 2157.

2.       What did Margie write in her diary?

Ans : Margie wrote in her diary about the real book that tommy had found in the attic of his house. It was an old book with yellow, crinkly pages.

3.       Had Margie ever seen a book before?

Ans : No, Margie had never seen a book before. She had only heard of real printed pages books, teachers and School.  

4.       What things about the book did she find strange?

Ans: Margie live in the year 2157, which was completed computerized. The teachers were Robots, and all the books were flashed in the screen. So, she found it strange when she knew that the book was actually printed in pages and the words didn’t move. She also found it strange knowing that she could actually flip the pages of the book, and the same words appeared on the pages without any movement or changes.

5.       What do you think a tele book is?

Ans:  A tele book is a electronic book which is stored in a computer. It can be read on the screen by scrolling up and down.

6.       Where was Margie’s school? Did she have any classmates?

Ans: Margie’s school was in her house. It was a room next to her bedroom. She had mechanical teachers.

      No, she didn’t have any classmates. Her classroom was personal, where the mechanical teacher was programmed to her level. Thus, the teacher taught her accordingly.

7.       What subject did Margie and Tommy learn?

Ans:  They learned the subjects like Geography, Mathematic, History  etc.

 

 

 

 

Grammar:
