The Fun They Had

The Fun They Had (Summery).

The fun they had is a story based on the view of future education system with developed technology. Here in this story a girl named Margie reads her grandfather's dairy and wonders why did he write about school. For her school has no fun at all, her teacher is also mechanical who has everything stored. The answers and questions are all stored accordingly. She don't have any classmates. Back then many years ago when her grandfather was in school, things were so different. She learnt that her grandfather had real human teacher, the kids in those time went a special building to study. The teachers were not computers or robots which they have now.

Margie and Tommy had virtual classroom, and Robots as their teacher. And their classroom was next to her bedroom. The computer teacher taught her everything. She had to write in a punch code and put the homework and test papers in a slot, and her mechanical teacher took no time calculating the marks. The whole lessons and questions were flashed in the screen.

She then begins to wonder the time her grandfather had in his school where there was real men teachers, who could talk and give homework. She wonder how different neighborhoods coming together happily in the school, help each other with the home works. she was left wondering about the fun they had in those days.
