Ans: The last two lines of the poem mean that e dared to choose a different path which had less travelers and that what made him different from all. The path was full of grass yet it had a destination too. He had no regret on choosing the different path.

Explanation:

Para 1…

In the first stanza the poet say that he was in dilemma to choose a path. He was travelling down a road where he found two diverged roads. He as one person could travel only one road. The first line in the stanza speaks about the forest which was yellow in colour because of the autumn season. He looked the path as long as he could. He looked at the path till where his eye sight could see and wondered about his decision, he wanted to be careful and know whether it was suitable for him or not. The last line of the stanza “to where it bent in the undergrowth” means the poet could see only a part of the road and the small plants and grass that’s grown in the ground blocks his vision. He is trying to be sure about his choice and also wanders about what could be the end, where he will get his destination or not.

Second stanza the poet says that he had looked at the roads for a long time, and decided to take the road which had grasses. He knew that the road wasn’t much used by the travelers. He starts walking on the path because for him both the paths were equally good and for him the grass filled path is better.

In the Third Stanza the poet describes the paths which was full of leaves and was uncrushed by the travelers. He decided that, that day he would take one path and kept the other path for another day although he knew that one way leads on to another way. The poet is also in doubt where he could ever come back and take the other path which he left.

4th Stanza says that he will be speaking about his decision many years later, where he had  once reached at a point in his life with two option for him and he decided to travel on the road which was least travelled by people. That decision of him decides his future. But the poet has no regret on his decide.  It  ironically says that the choice you make decided your future, before doing anything we must think and take decision carefully. In the path of our life we always have two options and it’s on us which path we choose and that choice we make today make our future.
