1. Who is the Tiger king? Why does he get that name?

Ans- The tiger king is the Maharaja of Pratibandapuram.
        He got that name because of his interest in killing hundred tigers, the hundredth which was predicted to take his life.

2. What did the royal infant grow up to be?

Ans- The royal infant grew up taller and stronger. He grew up to be the warriors of warriors,  hero of heroes and champion of champions.

3. What did the Maharaja do to find the required numbers of tigers to kill?

Ans-  The Maharaja planned to marry a girl from the Royal Family of a nearby state with maximum population of tigers.

4. What were the various dangers  faced by the tiger King in his hunting spree?

Ans- The tiger king faced various dangers and obstacles in his hunting spree. At times he missed his target and the tiger jumped upon him and then he has to fight the animal with his bare hands. But each time it was the Maharaja who won.

5. What did the Maharaja do to appease the British officer whom he prevented from hunting tigers?

Ans- The British officer had once desired to hunt tigers in Pratibandapuran, but was prevented from hunting it. By preventing the British officer the Maharaja stood in danger of loosing his kingdom itself.
       After deliberation over the issue a telegram was despacted forth with to a famous British company of jewellers in Calcutta of various designs. The Maharaja sent the whole lot to the British officer's good lady, and asked her to choose any two rings and sent back the rest. But she kept all the rings. The rings cost the Maharaja three lakh rupees. This is how the Maharaja manged to retain his kingdom.

6. What did the dewan do about procuring a tiger on pain of losing his job?

Ans- The Maharaja sank in gloom for not being able to find the hundredth tiger. And once the dewan was at his verge in lossing his job. To hold his job he bought a tiger from the people's park in Madras. At midnight with the help of his wife he managed to draf the tiger to his car, and hauled the beast out of the car in the jungle where the Maharaja hunted tigers. Following day the same old tiger was shot down by a hunter when the Maharaja missed the target. Thus, the dewan managed to secure his job.

7. How did the tiger king die?

Ans- The tiger king had a false impression that he killed the hundredth tiger. But actually he did not know that he missed his target. Unannouncing the news about the missing target, a hunter killed it. A few day later there was the third birthday of his son. The Maharaja desire to give a special gift to the crown prince. After wandering every shops of Pratibandapuram, he spotted a wooden tiger and decided that it was the perfect gift .
           On the birthday father and son played with the tiny little wooden tiger, with the least knowledge of its rough surface. One of the tiny slivers of wood pierced the Maharaja's right hand. He pulled it out with his left hand and continued to play with it. The next day  the infection flared in the Maharaja right hand and within no time spread all over the arm. Three renowned surgeon were brought from Madras but Alas! the tiger king was dead. The hundredth tiger took its revenge upon the Tiger King.
