Subject : Complaint against poor condition of roads.

Respeted Sir/ Madam,

Kindly allow me to draw the attention of concerned authorities through the columns of your esteemed newspaper to the bad condition of the road in our locality. Travelling by road from Lanka to Hojai has become a painful experience. Almost all the roads in the city are minded. It has created a serious condition.

The bad conditions of the road cause a lot of inconvenience to the people, causing traffic jam during the peak office hours. The roads are completely damaged with big holes everywhere, speed breakers can be seen in a large number. Recently a school girl hurted herself by mistakenly placing her leg in a hole, she was almost hit by a car. Poor drainage system may also be the reason for damaging the roads. The speed breakers are danger for fast moving vehicles, especially at night.

This problem has reached at its extreme and is consequently creating panic among citizens. Through this esteemed column, I would invite the attention of the authorities to this matter. I hope that the concerned authorities must look into the matter seriously, and take necessary action to overcome this problem.

                                                                                                                   Thanking you

                                                                                                                   Yours truly
